Diners were evacuated from a popular Michiana restaurant Wednesday night after a small electrical fire started in the basement.
The fire at the Carriage House restaurant started about 6:30 p.m., according to a Clay Fire press release. That's when employees first noticed smoke coming from downstairs.
Arriving firefighters found the employees had used extinguishers to quickly contain the fire.
