Squad 241 is a 2004 American LaFrance Metropolitan 1250GPM/750Tank. It is equipped both as an Engine and as a Rescue. It features a Wil-Burt Night Scan 5000 Watt Light Tower, 20KW Hydraulic Generator, a Hurst Trimo Pump with 3 pre-connected 100 ft Hurst Reels. Also it has a pre-connected Electric Reel and Work Air Reel. The new squad has 9000 # Portable Winch that can be mounted in receivers on all 4 sides of the body. In addition, it is equipped with an Elkhart Brass Vulcan Remote Control Monitor, an Elkhart Brass RAM Monitor and pre-connected front suction

This engine runs out of Station 4 on State Road 23. This engine has a 1500 gpm pump with a 1000 gallon tank. It also has a 30 gallon foam tank for their CAFS system.

2002 Pierce Dash

This Engine runs out of Station 5 on Anderson Road. This Engine has a 1500 gpm pump with a 1000 gallon tank and also a 30 gallon tank of foam for their CAFS system. This unit carries some light extrication equipment and has a large light tower on the top of the rig.

1985 Pierce Dash

This engine is housed at the 2's on Auten Road. This engine is primarily the Traiing Division engine but is also used as a reserve engine. This engine has a 1500 gpm pump with a 1000 gallon tank.

1993 Pierce Dash Pumper

Engine 249 is assigned to Station 1 and is used as a reserve pumper. This engine carries 1000 gallons of water with a 1000 gpm pump.

This apparatus is assigned to Station 3 and is used by the MABAS 201 Tactical Rescue Team which is made up of Clay Firefighters, Niles City, Warsaw, Mishawaka and Penn Twp firefighters. This unit is fully equipped to handle trench rescue, confined space rescue and collapse rescue.

Truck 291


2001 HME/Ferrera

Truck 291 runs out of Station 1 on Cleveland Rd. The crew of the Truck also is a jump rescue company for TSU 261. The ladder is 109', they carry a compliment of ladders, tarps, ropes. The truck has a 1000 gpm pump with a 300 gallon tank.

2006 Ford F-550 / RPI

261 is a 2006 Ford F-550 and the body was built by RPI in Tipton, IN. It features a 4500watt light tower, cord reel and 10KW generator. This unit now runs out of station1 on Cleveland Road. This is a jump rescue company and is manned by the Truck 291 crew. This unit responds to all extrications, rollovers and serious car crashes. This unit has a compliment of Hurst tools and other rescue equipment.
